BALTIMORE -- The Orioles reinstated infielder Ryan Flaherty from the 15-day
disabled list on Wednesday. To clear a roster spot, they designated
outfielder Alejandro De Aza for assignment.
由於Flaherty歸隊，金鶯把DeAza DFA，清出一個空間。
Baltimore will now have 10 days to trade, release or outright De Aza. The
31-year-old batted .214/.277/.359 with three home runs and seven RBIs in 30
games with the O's this season.
現在金鳥有10天的時間可以決定要將DeAza交易掉或釋出，
DeAza 今年打出.214/.277/.359 的成績，並有3轟、7打點
The news is a bit of a surprise, considering infielder Everth Cabrera has
options remaining. But with Flaherty coming back from the DL and shortstop
J.J. Hardy's recent back issue, the Orioles want to be able to cover
themselves in the infield.
球團這次的決定讓大家有點驚訝，因為Everth Cabrera還有選擇權可以下放，
但考量到Flaherty剛歸隊，近期Hardy的背部多少有些不適，為內野留個保險。
Flaherty, 28, appeared in two rehab games with Triple-A Norfolk, going
0-for-5 with three walks, two RBIs and a run. He was placed on the DL for the
second time this season on May 12 with a right groin strain.
Flaherty has hit .250/.372/.500 with three doubles, two home runs and four
RBIs in 13 games with the O's this season.
