George Karl says Andre Iguodala was Mark Jackson’s mole during
Nuggets-Warriors playoff series
2013's first-round playoff series between the Denver Nuggets and Golden
State Warriors took a turn for the controversial when Warriors coach Mark
Jackson accused Denver of playing dirty and intentionally attempting to
injure Stephen Curry.
在去年季後賽第一輪金塊對陣勇士的系列賽中，勇士教頭Mark Jackson表示，金塊打球很
髒，並且有意去弄傷勇士後衛Stephen Curry。
“I got inside information that some people don’t like that brand of
basketball and they clearly didn’t co-sign it,” Jackson said at the time. “
They wanted to let me know they have no parts in what was taking place. Let
the best team win.”
「我得到內部消息，有些人不喜歡那種籃球，很明顯地，他們沒有去實施那樣的做法，他

Mark Jackson說。
From a new interview with Karl by Dave Krieger:
Q: Do you think Andre Iguodala was Mark Jackson’s “mole”?
A: No question.
Q:你認為小AI是Mark Jackson派的「臥底」嗎？
A:毫無疑問。
Q: Does that bug you?
A: I just think that’s media hype. I mean, that series was not a physical
series. Everybody wants to be more aggressive with the guy kicking your ass,
so . . . .

A:我認為這只是媒體大肆宣傳罷了，我的意思是，那個系列賽身體對抗性根本沒有那麼強
，每個球員都想對那個打敗你的球員打出攻擊性，所以.....
Q: The media didn’t say it. Jackson said it.
A: I thought Mark had a lot of tricks in that series that were bush- . . . I
don’t know. I don’t know what they were. Almost high-schoolish. They were
beneath the NBA level. And they might have worked. They might have motivated
his young team in a good way. You know, he’d announce a starting lineup and
start another guy. C’mon, man. You think we’re not ready for that?
Q:媒體並沒有說，是Jackson說的。
A:我認為Jackson在那個系列賽中耍了很多把戲，我不知道是什麼，高中級別的手段，達不
到NBA級別的把戲，或許奏效了，或許把那支年輕球隊鼓舞了起來，你知道的，他們公佈了
先發陣容之後，然後讓其他人先發，別鬧了，夥計，你真的認為我們沒有為此做好準備？
在那個系列賽結束之後，剛剛獲得年度最佳教練的Karl就被金塊火掉了，然後小AI跟勇士
簽下了一份4年價值4800萬美元的合約。
