標題[訪談] Harper：要我做什麼都可以（2）

Harper 上週週中協助預備隊大勝保頓，對於這場比賽，他說：
"It was a good game and it's important with the time off coming up
that the manager wanted to give us a game.
「這是一場好比賽。考慮到國際賽週的休息期間即將到來（按：這是上週的訪談），
主帥能給我們額外的上場時間，是頗為重要的。」
"It's always difficult as an older pro with the travel and you get to a game
and the surroundings aren't what you are used to.
「老球員客場征戰，在一個你全然不熟悉的環境下踢球，一定是很艱難的。」
"But credit to the lads, we said when you are here you do the job properly
and that's what we did.
「但大夥幹得不錯。我們一直堅信，只要我們在場上，就要把份內的事情做好，
而這就是我們當天所表現出來的成果。」
"The attitude from the older lads was first class
and it was a great experience for some of the young lads."
「資深球員們（對比賽）的態度一流，同時給小鬼們徹底地上了一門好課。」
這支預備隊的成員們，大部分都非常年輕，表現也很出色。Harper 說：
"We had three young lads, Michael Richardson,
Remie Streete – which was the first time I've had a real look at him
– and Jeff Henderson and they all did very, very well.
「我們擁有三個很棒的年輕人：紅頭（Richardson）、
雷米街（Streete）－－這是我第一次仔細地觀察他－－和亨德森（Jeff Henderson）
而他們三位都做得非常、非常出色。」
"You have to remember that Shane Ferguson is still a young lad.
「也別忘了娃娃臉（Ferguson）－－他還只是個小屁孩而已呢。」
"At times we were on the back foot but we defended very well.
「有一陣子我們被迫後撤防守，但我們也守得傷當不賴。」
"I was quite pleased. I played against Norwich a few weeks ago
and had a quiet day. But at Bolton it was nice to have a few bits
and bobs to do just to sharpen up.
「我挺開心的。幾週前我對陣金絲雀（預備隊），當時我的守門機會不多。」
「不過在保頓這場，我很高興能夠上一些鏡頭、撲出一些球，讓我能擦亮自己的招牌。」
"You never know what might happen. Tim is away and he might end up
playing for Holland with Stekelenberg injured so you have to be ready."
「你永遠不知道接下來會怎麼發展。Tim（Krul）跑去幫荷蘭踢國際賽了，
是的客人堡（Stekelenberg）的受傷讓他很可能上位，所以我們也必須隨時準備好。」
最後，雖然這是專屬於 Harper 的訪談，
但他還是留了點時間給比賽中頭顱重傷（！）的前喜鵲小將 Darren Lough（22）：
"He's a great lad and he's been in a bad way.
Everybody wishes him a speedy recovery."
「他是一個好人，只是太不走運了。每個人都祝他能早日康復。」
