Alex Raskin: I'm all for saving money. The goal is to be peaking as the team moves to the Barclays center. If you tie yourself to the wrong deal now, who knows what might happen. I'm always reminded of the 1999 Cincinnati Reds. They were a decent team on the rise when they added Ken Griffey Jr. before the 2000 season. As it turned out, his body imploded and the team is only now pulling itself out of that decade-long rut. Alex Raskin: Turner is obviously a great player, but i question whether he is the sure choice over Favors. There is no question that the OSU guy had a better season, but he's not the athlete that Favors is and his shooting is underwhelming. Turner's assets are passing and his ability to get into the lane.
