This will be the veteran Stairs' second stint with the organization. The Expos signed Stairs as an amateur free agent in 1989. He is looking to play his 19th season in the big leagues. Stairs owns the all-time Major League mark with 23 pinch-hit home runs. Stairs enters 2011 having played for a record-tying 12 Major League teams and having homered for a record-tying 11 clubs. Stairs spent the 2010 season with the Padres, hitting .232 with six home runs and 16 RBIs. He is best known for his years with the Phillies, during which he helped them win two National League pennants and one World Series title.
