Bowden 從'92 到'03 都擔任 Reds GM 工作 並兩度讓 Reds 晉級到 NLCS
Bowden 喜歡給老球員機會 Ron Gant、Eric Davis、Jose Rijo[新楓康?]等
都在他手下拿過 Comeback Player of the Year
