Saturday, January 31, 2009 Qustionas for Rafa: How do you prepare for big matches? What do you do to prepare yourself mentally for big matches, like finals? Basem Salfiti, London RN: I know that the matches are different and I try to do the same things. It is difficult but I do the normal things. For example today I did more or less the same thing as any other day apart from trying to recuperate more physically . 像決賽之類的比賽，你都是做什麼心理準備來迎接重要的比賽呢？ Rafa: 我知道這些比賽都很艱難，所以我試著都做同樣的事情來準備。雖然不容易，不過 我還是做和平常一樣的事情。像今天來說吧…除了試著讓自己可以恢復更多的體力 外，我或多或少都是做和平常相同的準備工作。 How will you feel playing Roger in another final, and will what happened at Wimbledon make any difference to how you feel? Sam, Yorkshire RN: Roger is the best player ever and I know it is going to be almost mission impossible. But I will try as always my best and we'll see. I am sure the Wimbledon final will have nothing to do with tomorrow's final. Emma RN: I feel I am playing good and that I have improved a few things. But not that much of a change. Christie RN: You are right. I wouldn't know what to do :-). I suppose I would do the same thing as I use to. Elise RN: She is much younger than me. 當你還是小男孩時，你曾讓你的妹妹贏過任何事情嗎？ Rafa: 她比我小很多喔…還不到可以和她玩什麼可以決勝負的事情。 Has the current world financial crisis affected you personally in any way? Ben RN: Of course. It affects everyone. In my case some exhibitions have been cancelled during December and some other things. 全球盛行的金融危機有帶給你任何影響嗎？ Rafa: 那當然。每個人都有被影響到吧。就我而言，有一些在十二月舉行的展覽和一些其 他的活動都被迫取消了。 Do you read books while you're on tour? If so, what was the last book that you read? A fan RN: I don't read that much. Chinese I don't know that well. 你喜歡中國菜嗎？ Rafa: 老實說，我比較喜歡日本料理。對於中國菜，我了解的不多。 (那台灣菜呢？呵呵…) How much do you talk to your opponent before and after a match? Or do you prefer to stay focused on your game? Katharine RN: I try to stay focus on my game, that's for sure, but I am not going to not talk to my opponent for that reason.
