Thursday, January 22, 2009 Rafa: Why I always have to be ready for action Hello again every one, Here we go with another day with a win and therefore another blog. As long as I am blogging means it is going well so more than happy to continue and be with you again. 又是一場勝利所帶來的另一篇部落格文章分享。只要我還在繼續寫部落格，意味著我的 比賽表現不錯，所以很開心能在這裡和大家一起分享我的心情。 Today I played my second round match and I am again having those good sensations I have been also having during practice. I feel I am playing well and with confidence so great. 今天我進行了我的第二輪比賽，就像我在練球時有的好球感，持續在今天的比賽上 感覺到！我覺到我的比賽狀況很好，而且也有足夠的自信心！真的很不錯！ So how did my day go? I haven't talked about a competition day yet on this blog so I will let you know everything in the morning before I step on court to play . 那麼，我的一天是如何進行的呢？ 我似乎還沒和大家談到在比賽尚未輪到我時，我是在做 些什麼。所以，我將和你分享在我踏上球場比賽前的早上時間我的行程狀況。 Today I was playing second match after 11. That means that we really have to be ready by 11 and no later than that. The reason for this is that if the first match goes too fast because a player retires or finishes too quickly we have to be ready to step out on court. It is not normal that we go to play at 11 but it could happen and if we are not we can get defaulted. 今天我所打的第二輪比賽是在上午十一點之後。也就是說我們必需在最晚十一點前做好準 備。原因是如果第一場比賽因為球員棄賽或是結束的太快，我們就立即準備好上場。一般 來說我們不會在十一點整就進行我們的比賽，但是這也是有可能發生的，如果我們不能如 時進場，就視同我們放棄這場比賽。 Can you imagine? The announcer says: "Could the following players report to the Player's desk and be ready to be escorted for their matches..." and all the things the referee and the tournament announcer say over the PA... and I am not ready. What happens? We get defaulted... without even playing, Would be horrible to lose a match like this, huhhhh? . 你能想像這種情況嗎？當大會宣布：「下一場比賽的球員到選手區報到，而且要一起入場 準備開始他們的比賽時…」所有的該準備的事情、裁判和大會主持人透過擴音機宣布比賽 將要進行時…而我卻還沒做好準備。那會有什麼狀況發生？我們會被迫棄賽…甚至是在比 都沒有比的情況下。有比因為這樣輸掉比賽還恐怖的嗎？蛤…？ I am always ready...We all do it like this more or less. We are professionals and this is one of those things we really have to know and be very careful about. 我總是做好準備。我們幾乎都會做好該有的準備。身為職業選手，這是所有我們該知道的 事情之一，而且必需非常的注意這件事。 So I got picked up at the hotel at 8.45 am and had scheduled my practice at 10 am. This way I have plenty of time to get ready, get the shower, tapes and everything ready. By 11 I was ready and in the end we walked on court at the time we thought around 1, 1.30 pm. 因此，我在早上八點四十五分就從飯店出發，十點進行事先就預定好的練習行程。這樣的 話我就有足夠的時間來做好準備，像是沖澡、纏繃帶和所有事情的確認。在十一點前我就 準備好了，最終我們在下午一點、一點半進入球場準備比賽。 By the way I wanted to send a thank you message to the transport people and their responsible for doing me the favor yesterday. They know what I mean, so really thank you to them and to the tournament organizers. They are really, really nice here. They've always been nice with me. Not that now I am at the top of the rankings. Always, and that is very much appreciated. 順代一提，我想向翻譯人員說聲謝謝，感謝他們昨天的幫忙。他們會知道我的意思是什麼 ，真的非常謝謝他們和賽事的工作人員們。他們真的非常的好！他們總是對我非常好，並 不是因為現在我是排名第一的選手才這樣的。真的非常的感激他們！ On a different topic, yesterday night we had a dinner all the Spanish players and the atmosphere was great. We are all together around our new captain and we are happy to have him with us here in Melbourne. 來換個不同的話題吧…昨晚我們所有的西班牙球員一起吃晚餐，氣氛非常的好！我們和 新隊長在一起，而且很開心有他在墨爾本伴陪我們。 Hasta manana.
