You might mean Torre, you might mean Girardi. Of course, Derek Jeter has always called Torre, "Mr. T," so there's no confusion there. And while Jeter had to be one of the most upset to see Torre leave, he was able to joke about Torre's absence today. "I've always said throughout the years I couldn't imagine playing here without (Torre)," Jeter said. "Now I can." And after concluding the workout with the increased conditioning program -- today players had to run along the edge of the outfield grass, from one foul line to the other and back, eight times -- Jeter was asked if he missed Torre.
