經常做伸展操能夠增進運動效果
Time to change your warm-up routine. Researchers say regular
stretching over a few days or weeks before sports or exercise appears
to improve performance. Meanwhile, only performing stretches just
before these activities may actually decrease performance.
該是改變暖身習慣的時候了。研究人員發現,連續幾天或幾個星期在運動前或進
行體育活動前固定做伸展操,似乎有助於增進運動效果。而且,如果只在活動開
始前才做伸展,反而會減低運動效果。
Many fitness instructors advise people to stretch before exercising to
prevent injury. But, researchers say if you stretch, you should stretch
after exercise, or at a time not related to exercise. These findings
are similar to those previously reported by other researchers who found
that regular stretching, rather than pre-exercise stretching, is most
effective at reducing one's risk of injury.
許多體適能教練都建議運動的人要先做伸展操,避免運動時造成傷害。但是,研
究人員表示,如果要做伸展,應該要運動後再做,或者是沒有運動的時候才做。
之前也有研究人員發現,經常做伸展操,降低運動傷害的效果會比運動前才做伸
展的效果更好;這次的研究發現再度證實這樣的說法。
