※ 引述《boffo (白牙)》之銘言： 以下是神木的介紹:(有些是用奇摩翻的.如有錯誤請糾正!~) 神木 溪頭位於南投縣鹿谷鄉鳳凰山麓，海拔１１５０米的高山上。氣候長年涼爽，溪頭最吸引 人的莫過於這裡的森林植物，這裡有台灣黃杉、蠻大杉、紅檜、台灣肖楠、日本扁柏等。 著名的溪頭神木屬紅檜巨木，樹齡將近３０００年，樹高４６米，樹圍１６．８米，主幹 早已朽空，中間包有一塊大石頭，像是大樹腹部結石一般。據說是在這神木行政管理過程 中，當樹根從上往下生長時連士帶石一起包圍起來，後來土被雨水沖走或被樹根吸收，留 下石頭在樹皮裏，形成樹包石的奇景。當年森林重整砍伐時因其經濟價值不高而得以留存 至今 Hsitou is located at Lugu Town phoenix piedmont in Nantou County, in the mountain of elevation 1150 meters high. It is said that during the managing process of the Divine Tree, the tree roots grew from the top toward the bottom, even dirt and stones are captured in its embrace. Afterwards, the soil was absorbed by the tree, or washed away by rain, leaving the stones within the bark of the tree, shaping the tree into the stones it is holding. In past times, the forest was not cut down due to low values of its lumber, so it remains here till now. --
