題目: Study in USA-- Information and Observation
時間: 5月17日星期四下午3點至4點30分
地點: 國立台灣大學 電機二館142會議室
主講人: Purdue University 陸永祥 教授
1992年台大電機系畢業 2002年美國史丹福大學電機博士
主講人將與大家分享他這幾年來的觀察與經驗，包括如何準備一份好的申請資料，以及入
學後如何找指導教授等問題。歡迎打算出國留學的同學參加並踴躍提問。
摘要:
There are many myths about studying in USA, from application to finding an
adviser, from funding to writing a thesis. In this session, I will provide
some information and share my observation. I will explain some funding
opportunities for short-term visitors and degree-seeking students, briefly
introduce the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Purdue
University, and suggest how to develop good applications. I intend to make
this session a discussion. Therefore, faculty members are welcome to join
and share their experience. Students are encouraged to bring their questions.
