题目: Study in USA-- Information and Observation
时间: 5月17日星期四下午3点至4点30分
地点: 国立台湾大学 电机二馆142会议室
主讲人: Purdue University 陆永祥 教授
1992年台大电机系毕业 2002年美国史丹福大学电机博士
主讲人将与大家分享他这几年来的观察与经验，包括如何准备一份好的申请资料，以及入
学後如何找指导教授等问题。欢迎打算出国留学的同学参加并踊跃提问。
摘要:
There are many myths about studying in USA, from application to finding an
adviser, from funding to writing a thesis. In this session, I will provide
some information and share my observation. I will explain some funding
opportunities for short-term visitors and degree-seeking students, briefly
introduce the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Purdue
University, and suggest how to develop good applications. I intend to make
this session a discussion. Therefore, faculty members are welcome to join
and share their experience. Students are encouraged to bring their questions.
