<一>當地英文程度概況 英文課從小三開始 大概的程度是 小三:認字母 小四:原則上認完字母(不過大小寫分不大清楚+字母不完全熟練) 小五:基本問候語+簡易單字(數字 星期) 小六:簡單句子+多些單字(1000) 就與內部學校學生自我比較來看 小六有升學壓力 老師們會多加強他們的英語能力(單字量) 至於 其他年級 5>4>3(不過差別不大) 與都市學生比較 月美國小學生補習英文並不普遍 據該校老師所言 一般英文較好者僅一兩位 <二>老師的建議 英文課3 4年級偏重於字母教學(偶有些單字) 5 6年級則逐步加深 不過與都市小朋友比 月美國小的學生英文仍普遍不佳 老師建議是 雖說高年級的程度普遍比中年級好 設計課程時也不必然要太過遷就中年級的學生 "適中就好" 可以 依競賽方式呈現小朋友會更喜歡的 像是 拼字比賽 高年級可擔任拼字的順序的指揮 再讓中年級的小朋友 把字母快快的拼好 (這點有符合團隊合作的營標!!) 並藉此 讓小朋友在快樂中學習 對英文產生興趣 會是不錯的選擇!! <三>英文兒歌 以下是他們的兒歌教材 有的很"兒歌" 有的 還蠻難的 不過老師說太普通的高年級興趣可能比較不熱絡(因為都聽過了) 至於 有時放些有名的流行歌 小朋友雖然都不會唱 不過他們蠻愛聽的 例如 <London Bridge> London Bridge Is Falling Down, Falling Down, Falling Down, London Bridge Is Falling Down, My fair lady. <ABC Song> A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y and Z Now I know my ABC Tell me what you think of me <My heart will go on> <---這首還蠻難的 Every night in my dreams I see you, I feel you, That is how I know you go on.
