當代英國法理學家Joseph Raz在其名著The Authority of Law(<法律的權威>)一書中寫
道：
Much of the discourse about the law falls according to Kelsen into this
category which I called statement from a point of view. This is especially true
of statements by legal practitioners and scholars acting in their professional
capacity. The main differences between such contexts and one of our imagined
example is that the clear assumption that the Catholic does not share the point
of view from which he speaks whereas the Jew does share it is missing. The
Lawyer─academic or practising─may or may not believe in the moral validity of
law. His reader or client may or may not share such beliefs. Such questions are
irrlevant to the tnterpretation of such statements even though the answers to
them─as in our example─may be known in some cases.(Raz 1979:157)
