根據相關報導
捷克總理巴比什先前曾揚言反對捷克主導的軍援炮彈計畫
但是後來是受到美國的壓力，而撤回相關的意見
這可能是因為美國軍火商受益於此一計畫的體現
據稱巴比什的政治盟友SPD(極右派政黨)才是特別反對軍援烏克蘭
巴比什自己則較為務實彈性，並且非常看重經營對美國的關係
他想要之後有機會去白宮或海湖莊園和川普會面
