白宮官員表示：
「與俄羅斯及特使維特科夫的會議進行得很順利。俄方渴望持續與美國接觸。
次級制裁仍預計將於星期五實施。」

接下來的行動是：根據川普週三的指示，白宮表示：
「商務部長將與國務卿、財政部長及其他高級官員協調，判斷是否有其他國家直接或間接
進口俄羅斯聯邦的石油，並在需要時向總統建議進一步的行動。」
