是非題
1. In American English, velar nasal can occur after a diphthong.
不知道對不對…想不出例子…
2. Every word in English is stressed, including words of monosyllable.
想說English is a stress language 但是 monosyllable word 上都沒看到stress mark
不知道這句對還是錯…
3. The fact that a person can talk about the past or anticipate the future
illustrates the characteristic of language called displacement.
我覺得它是錯的 但是不知道該如何訂正…
4. The practice of changing from one style of language to another is called
toasting.
沒聽過toasting說 不知道是什麼….= =
