1. In American English, velar nasal can occur after a diphthong.
不知道对不对…想不出例子…
2. Every word in English is stressed, including words of monosyllable.
想说English is a stress language 但是 monosyllable word 上都没看到stress mark
不知道这句对还是错…
3. The fact that a person can talk about the past or anticipate the future
illustrates the characteristic of language called displacement.
我觉得它是错的 但是不知道该如何订正…
4. The practice of changing from one style of language to another is called
toasting.
没听过toasting说 不知道是什麽….= =
