You have been kind, compassionate, understanding, and encouraging to someone in your world who seems to be in need. But when you look back, Leo, you can see that this individual always seems to be in need. Because you have a sense of obligation toward this person, and because you care, you keep catering to the neediness. But the best, most helpful thing you can do now is to offer tough love instead. Be more demanding. This person has greater capabilities than you are allowing for. Give them the gift of standing on their own two feet. --
