標題[問題] 幫我看這句獨立奪格

itaque convocatis centurionibus milites certiores facit (B. G iii. 5)
英文翻譯: and so, having called the centurions together, he informs the soldiers
(the centurions having been called together)
1. 想請問獨立奪格的部分是指convocatis centurionibus (召集百人長)嗎?
提醒一下: 這邊的convocatis是被動分詞的abl，所以正確翻法是藉由百人長被召集...
如果是主動分詞(convocans)的abl,只有convocate/convocati兩種寫法
2. certiores我查是certus的比較級，這邊怎麼翻成inform?
3. 問一個很蠢的問題，名言後面寫的出處常是縮略字，有沒有表可以查啊?
