The Lakers should go with more Sasha just because life is so much more
interesting with him.

Sasha Vujacic licks his fingers and wets down his eyebrows before shooting
free throws. He has lip-reading conversations with courtside fan David
Beckham way across the Staples Center floor.
殺殺在罰球前會舔自己的手指並把眉毛沾濕(嗆喇叭沾濕?!)。他用唇語跟場邊的貝克漢聊

He lives and dies with every shot he takes and every foul he gets called for
(and invariably disputes).

Vujacic, who is at his most amusingly earnest when it comes to his
exasperation that Boston beat the Lakers in the NBA Finals, was in his finest

After Vujacic came over to double-team Paul Pierce to the point that Pierce

over and over: “That’s a foul.”

Vujacic annoyed Kevin Garnett to the point that he waited till no refs were

After the Lakers won, Vujacic tried to clarify that “hate” was an ugly word
while remaining honest in expressing how he feels toward the Celtics.

Even when he tries to lob the Celtics some credit for last season, Vujacic
manages to backhand them, saying: “They caught that momentum …” or “They
won. It was their time. Now it’s our time.”

Beyonce’s alter ego is known as “Sasha Fierce,” which would be a perfect
nickname for Vujacic if he didn’t already have “The Machine.” The reason
that one works so well is because Vujacic really seems to think he is a robot
with the way he malfunctions with complete shock every time he misses a shot.

He didn’t miss much Sunday night against Golden State and was the first
player Phil Jackson brought up to praise after the game. Not only did Vujacic
have a season high of 17 points despite the bone bruise in his shooting hand
from a collision with Amare Stoudemire two weeks ago, he had a season high of
six assists.
他沒有投不進很多在對上勇士的時候，而且是肥爾爺爺賽後讚賞的五個球員之一喔。不只
是在兩個禮拜前與阿罵相撞讓投籃的那手淤傷後得到本季最高17分，他同時也傳出本季最
多6次助攻。
The assists were more notable for Vujacic, who drew the ire of teammate
Trevor Ariza for not passing earlier this season but actually set up Ariza
for scores three times Sunday night.

Vujacic has begun celebrating his passing as much as his shooting and in fact
interrupted a question about what Jackson wants from him besides defense

level that’s OK. Decision-making, that’s a different story.”

Yet Jackson is overlooking that Vujacic, even though he got hurt in the
preseason and began pressing during a slow regular-season start with his
shot, has been invaluable this season in getting and keeping the ball for the
Lakers.

Vujacic is second in the NBA in steals-to-turnover ratio, behind only Toronto
’s Jamario Moon, who plays forward and doesn’t handle the ball much.

Jackson does acknowledge that unlike many big guards, including Kobe Bryant,
Vujacic is skilled at navigating the many screens set against whomever is

Vujacic, 24, learned how to do it early on in a pro career that began
overseas at age 16.

“I want to be the stopper on defense, and from the point-guard position
everything starts,” Vujacic said. “I love to play defense, and I’m
fortunate enough to be able to guard all three positions (point guard,
shooting guard and small forward).”

Vujacic is in the first year of his three-year, $15 million contract, and the
Lakers should be jumping at this opportunity to develop a guy Jackson trusted
