S.p.A., following the agreement signed on 5 September 2020, has exercised the option rights for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Cristian Romero for a consideration of € 16 million, to be paid in three financial years. Juventus宣布Atalanta依據2020年09月05日達成的協議，以分3個財務年度支付16M 歐元的轉會費用行使球員Cristian Romero之買斷權。 This operation generates a negative economic effect of approximately € 4.8 million on the 2020/2021 financial year due to the partial write-down of the net book value of the player’s registration rights. 由於折舊，此項操作在2020/2021財務年度產生約4.8M歐元的負面效果。 -- Cristian Romero是在2019年夏轉時以26M從Genoa購入並簽署5年合約，因此若將 Atalanta的買斷列計於2020/2021年度，即表示Juventus在C. Romero的5年合約內僅 實際持有第1年即2019/2020年度，於是在2020/2021年度這26M就有1/5的折舊，因此 在2020/2021賽季C. Romero對Juventus來說就是26M * 4/5 = 20.8M的資產，而當此 20.8M資產在2020/2021賽季被以16M出售，單純只看資產不管是否要給Genoa的額外 費用、租借費、薪資，對於財務年度就是16M - 20.4M = (-4.8M)的影響。 然後離開Juventus前往Tottenham Hotspur任職的Fabio Paratici就來做這筆生意 了，據傳該隊將以50M與額外最多5M的費用向Atalanta購入Cristian Romero。 但事情還沒完，據傳接下來Atalanta即將向Juventus申租另一位風格接近的中後衛 Merih Demiral，且一樣會附帶可買斷的條款。 --
