The former Juve directors attempted to overturn the sporting justice system's sentences on Tuesday but with no success. “The verdict was in our favour,” continued the FIGC statement. “Moggi and Giraudo's appeals were aiming to obtain a suspension in the sanction inflicted by the Federal Court and were rejected. “It is clear that there is a losing party and a winning party, the precautionary phase can now be considered closed.” Lazio and Fiorentina have also suggested that they will go to the TAR should their CONI conciliation meeting fail to see their points penalties, of minus 11 and 19 respectively, not be scrapped.
