Casiraghi knows the bianconeri family well, having played alongside Michelangelo Rampulla at Juve and Pavel Nedved at Lazio, and worked with Dr Antonio Pintus at Chelsea. The former Italian international is currently touring the pre-season circuit and made the trip to the Parco Pineta sports centre today to watch the bianconeri train. Having just been appointed as head coach of the Italian Under-21s, Pierluigi was no doubt also on the look out for some tips from Didier Deschamps. We wish him all the best! This time, however, he was not alone; Gianfranco Zola, Casiraghi's second in command, received a warm welcome from the Juve faithful as he arrived at the training ground. It was actually against Juventus that Zola played his last game as a professional footballer. Juventus-Cagliari at the Delle Alpi, May 29th 2005; Zola grabbed the two goals for the Sardinians in a 4-2 defeat, bowing out from an illustrious career in style. This afternoon Gianfranco enjoyed a chat with Didier Deschamps, a team mate of his at Chelsea, fitness coach Antonio Pintus and former Napoli team mates, Giancarlo Corradini and Ciro Ferrara, before watching the training session from the stands.
