因為在文法書上看到以下這段文章，有不懂之處想請教神人指導
Stella was alone in a strange city.She walked down the avenue slowly,looking i
n shop windows.Suddenly,she turned her head and looked behind her.Someone had
called her name.
上述時態的背景應該是設定在過去式吧？如果是這樣的話，那為什麼looking in的look是
採用inch的形式呢？
