先跟大家說一個觀念，考SC的時候最重要的是
「
如何迅速看出它在考什麼：文法 / 句意 / 寫法好壞？」
以及「
考點要按層級判斷：文法>句意>寫法好壞」
如果根本沒有在考句意就貿然去看句意，
那麼實戰的時候會額外耗去不少時間，導致pace大受壓迫。
像這一題，ABC/DE的第一個差別在於
「tribes
who interacted...」
「tribes
, interacting...」
看到這個差別時，就要立刻想到以下兩個點：
1. 「
沒有文法錯誤」
一個是名詞後的關代限定修飾
一個是句尾分詞延伸結構（,Ving）
兩者在文法上都是正確的
2. 「
在判斷寫法好壞之前，先判斷句意」
既然這是一個修飾成分寫法不同的考點，
修飾成分考點的句意要怎麼判斷呢？
原則就是：去把修飾對象跟修飾成分對在一起，看意思合不合理
（而不是去看整個句子）
「tribes
who interacted...」
部落可不可以跟其他部落互動呢？邏輯基本判斷是可以的。
所以ok。
「tribes
, interacting...」
當句尾分詞延伸結構，
邏輯主語抓緊接著的整件事或者該件事動作的主詞。
抓的是which（其實就是抓which的先行詞，前面的confederacy）
或者 「which was a cluster of loosely knit,
informally related neighboring tribes」（整件事）
confederacy只有一個單數，能不能跟生出其他的「彼此」（each other）互動呢？
不行。
整件事 也只有一件
「which was a cluster of loosely knit, informally related neighboring
tribes」 有辦法跟「彼此」互動嗎？
不行。
所以
回歸到最基本的判斷：
修飾到複數的tribes才會有each other，單數不可能有each other。
回到原PO的問題，也就是句意完整翻譯：
The Kwakiutl recognized one social unit larger than the tribe-the confederacy,
which was a cluster of loosely knit, informally related neighboring
tribes who interacted with one another more often than with other tribes.
Kwakiutl（應該是某種文化）允許一種比部落更大的社會單位：邦聯；
邦聯是由一群連結鬆散、沒有正式締結的鄰近部落所構成，而這些邦聯內的部落
對其他邦聯內部落的互動比邦聯外的部落更密切。
