標題Re: [請益] DKT被TD預扣30%

回報一下後來處理的狀況
我以S-69條款說明此證券的收入並非來自美國，NON-US Holder不該被扣30%
但客服回信說明TD認為DKT屬美國來源的證券，但又不解釋為何4月的配息未被扣稅
結論是不改帳，但是會回去慢慢研究喔 ( ^.＜ )揪咪
看來該把這批DKT移到其他券商去了...

: Certain Non-U.S. Holders
: The Company intends to operate so that it will not be treated as engaged in
: the conduct of a U.S. trade or business. Moreover, the Company intends to
: invest in securities that will be exempt from withholding of U.S. federal

剛剛收到TD寄的另一封信，成功爭取到稅退回~~ 以下為全文
Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding the foreign withholding that took
place on your account for cusip 25150L108 (DB CONT CAPITAL TRUST V PFD
PERP/CALL DIV 8.05%. After further review we were able to determine that the
income in question should be from Germany and the dividend should have been
exempt from any non-resident alien (NRA) withholding. We have credited these
funds back to your account and removed the withholding from your 2018 tax
reporting. I apologize for any inconvenience this matter may have caused.
