I wonder that which one is more difficult?
Learning Chinese or English?
Before I thought it is harder to learn Chinese for foreigners than
we learn English, but I've found that a lot of foreigners who speak
Chinese pretty well.
Sometimes I envy English native speakers their good luck because
they can almost travel around the world in English only.
Some countries, take Taiwan for example, we don't use English a lot,
but people still try to talk to foreigners in English.
Don't you think it's really unfair?
They don't use our language in our country, instead, we use theirs.
Sorry for digression.
Sometimes foreigners say some brief Chinese sentences then we can simply
understand what they mean. In contrast, I think it hard to explain
by using terse words.
Perhaps learning English is more arduous than I thought.
