標題[文法] nonetheless可以與"but"合用嗎?

大家好,
想請問nontheless可以用but並用嗎?
因為如果是however
通常我們不會在另外使用but
但我查到網路上有:
"it was the barest of welcomes, but it was a welcome nonetheless"
但nontheless的同義字中有however,也有but和still等
所以是可以與but並用也可以不並用嗎?
還是與but並用有加強語氣之感?
