標題[文法] 情態助動詞

請問各位這兩句:
1.
A: What time is it ?
B: Well, we came at seven, and I'm sure we've been here for at least an hour.
So it [must have been] around eight o'clock.
A問的問題是現在式，[]不應該是要去回答A的問題嗎? 所以應該是現在是接近八點不是嗎?
2.
A: I met Akako's husband at the reception. We said hello to each other,
but when I asked him a question in English, he just smiled and nodded.
B: He [must not speak] much English.
這句[]是根據過去的事件的經過在現在做出推測，所以用現在式，對嗎?
