標題[文法] 代名詞與other用法

請問各位這兩句:
1.One common preposition is from. Another common one is in. Others are by,for,
and of. The most frequently used prepositions in English are at ,by,for,from,
in,of,to,and with. What are some [other] prepositions?
請問各位[]可以用the other 嗎? the other有剩餘的意思(囊括所有剩餘部分)不是比較
妥當嗎?
另外請教各位another & other都是用在總數"種類"(像是已經知道狗，other/another為貓
，但會有其他種生物不明=總種類不明確)不明確的想法對嗎?
而the other則是總數種類明確?(狗，the other為貓，則總種類只有兩種=貓跟狗)

用some不會跟the other連用，因為the other直接涵蓋剩下，不會再用some這種數量用詞
了，這樣的想法正確嗎?
