想請問各位這幾句:
Nowadays although scientists [know] more about the causes of earthquakes
,they still cannot prevent the terrible damage.
[]可以用現在完成式表"已經"知道的意思嗎? 還是因為前面有nowadays所以必須用
現在簡單(know)?
According to some studies, snakes, monkeys, and rodents [also appear] to be
sensitive to the approach of violent movement in the earth's surface. Some
animals [seem] to know a great deal more than humans about when an earthquake
will occor.
這兩個[]可以用現在完成式強調"已經"嗎? 第一句句首用according to some studies有
過去紀錄的意思，第二句時間子句用未來這樣可以嗎? 我記得書上寫說時間子句都用現在
簡單式，所以前面[]用簡單式為了表一個時間參考點嗎?
