標題[文法]兩個句子的相同動詞省略

以下例句出自單挑中的100th單字"thriving":
Most countries offer few opportunities for female soccer players, but
Norway has a thriving women's professional league, and the U.S.( ) a burgeoning
co-ed youth soccer movement.
我想問的是為什麼U.S.後面的動詞可以省略阿?
