When I married Soraya, the flowers and Johnson Carson took a backseat.
翻:當我和Soraya結婚的時候，Johnson Carson 有出席 (坐個位子) 。
那花要怎麼翻? (花也坐了一個位子?)
For one thing, I listened to her impressive list of maladies,
somthing the genral had long turned a deaf ear to.
翻:有件事是這樣，我聆聽她(主角岳母)那精彩的病例，那是將軍(主角岳父)長期
的耳聾所造成的。
這樣翻對嗎?
不太確定是 耳聾造成病例 還是 病例造成耳聾
耳聾造成病例，怎麼看都怪怪的
