標題[文法] for/of問題

It is very kind of you to help me.
adj 描述事物用for,描述人用of.
課堂上老師這樣教的.
後來寫作課的時候,我用這架構造了一個句子..
老師說那種句型有各別的架構,不是用這種....
老師這句話讓我很疑惑,所以到這邊問一下...

他很常開心的買給我.
不能這樣寫嗎?
還是...
He is very happy to buy book.
