SP1 Randy Johnson 1999-2002 After winning one Cy Young award in his first 11 seasons, joined D-Backs when he was 35 and started winning Cy Youngs every year. SP2 Curt Schilling 2000-2002 In 2001, he and Big Unit gave Arizona the best one-two combination that anybody could remember, and the pair practically won the World Series all by themselves. SP3 Brian Anderson 1998-2002 The Diamondbacks' first pick in the expansion draft, and the club's best pitcher in that first season, goig 12-13 with a 4.33 ERA for a team that lost 97 games. SP4 Omar Daal 1998-2000 Got off to a brutal start in 2000 before getting traded, but in '98 and '99 he went 24-21 with 3.32 ERA, and tossed clubs's first shutout (7/30/98); fooled 'em with slow stuff.
