Cubs manager Lou Piniella announced he will step down after
Sunday's game with the Atlanta Braves.
Chicago has named third base coach Mike Quade manager for the rest
of the season. Quade has been with the Cubs’ organization for
eight years. The remainder of the coaching staff will remain
intact, the team announced Sunday.
In July, Piniella said he would retire at the end of the season,
citing family reasons as the primary motivation.
The Cubs hired Piniella after the 2006 season. The Cubs won the NL
Central in 2007 and 2008 before things fell apart last year.

小熊隊的教練Lou Piniella在今天對勇士隊的比賽賽後就將提早退休，
現任三壘教練Mike Quade將會接下這季剩下比賽的兵符。
在七月的時候Piniella表示今年球季結束後將退休，而家庭因素是主要
原因。
Lou Piniella在2006上任，分別在07,08兩球帶領小熊拿下美中王座，
直到去年小熊的戰機才開始解體。
