Cubs manager Lou Piniella announced he will step down after
Sunday's game with the Atlanta Braves.
Chicago has named third base coach Mike Quade manager for the rest
of the season. Quade has been with the Cubs’ organization for
eight years. The remainder of the coaching staff will remain
intact, the team announced Sunday.
In July, Piniella said he would retire at the end of the season,
citing family reasons as the primary motivation.
The Cubs hired Piniella after the 2006 season. The Cubs won the NL
Central in 2007 and 2008 before things fell apart last year.

小熊队的教练Lou Piniella在今天对勇士队的比赛赛後就将提早退休，
现任三垒教练Mike Quade将会接下这季剩下比赛的兵符。
在七月的时候Piniella表示今年球季结束後将退休，而家庭因素是主要
原因。
Lou Piniella在2006上任，分别在07,08两球带领小熊拿下美中王座，
直到去年小熊的战机才开始解体。
