Chelsea Football Club can confirm that a final and definitive agreement
was entered into last night to sell the Club to the Todd Boehly/Clearlake
Capital consortium. It is expected that the transaction will be completed
on Monday. The Club will update further at that time.
切爾西足球俱樂部確認，在昨晚已經達成了一項最終協議，將俱樂部出售給托德˙伯
利/清湖資本財團，該交易預計將於下週一完成，屆時俱樂部將做出進一步的相關情
況更新。

It has been nearly three months since I announced my intention to sell
Chelsea FC. During this time, the team have worked hard to find the right
custodian for Chelsea FC that would be best positioned to successfully
lead the Club into its next chapter.
距離我宣佈出售切爾西俱樂部已經過去了將近三個月。在這段時間裡，團隊一直在努
力為切爾西尋找合適的接任者，他們將是成功帶領俱樂部進入下一階段的最佳人選。

The ownership of this Club comes with great responsibility. Since I came
to Chelsea nearly twenty years ago, I have witnessed first-hand what this
Club can achieve. My goal has been to ensure that the next owner has a
mindset that will enable success for the Men's and Women's team, as well
as the will and drive to continue developing other key aspects of the
Club, such as the Academy and the vital work of Chelsea Foundation.
擁有這家俱樂部就需要承擔巨大的責任。將近20年前來到切爾西後，我親眼見證過這
家俱樂部能取得什麼樣的成就。我的目標是保證下一任老闆願意幫助男足和女足取得
成功，也有意願和動力繼續發展俱樂部其他關鍵部份，比如青訓營和切爾西基金會。
I am pleased this search has now come to a successful conclusion. As I
hand over Chelsea to its new custodians, I would like to wish them the
best of success, both on and off the pitch.
我很高興這個搜尋任務已經圓滿結束。當我把切爾西交給新管理人的時候，我希望他
們在球場內外都能取得成功。
It has been an honour of a lifetime to be a part of this Club – I would
like to thank all the Club's past and current players, staff, and of
course fans for these incredible years.
成為俱樂部的一部份是我一生的榮幸 － 我要感謝俱樂部過去和現在的球員、工作人
員，當然還有球迷們，感謝他們在這不可思議的幾年中的付出。
I am proud that as a result of our joint successes, millions of people
will now benefit from the new charitable foundation which is being
established. This is the legacy which we have created together.
我感到非常自豪，由於我們共同取得的成功，正在建立的新慈善基金會將會幫助數百
萬人，這是我們共同創造的財產。
