"It was my best season," said Gallas. "I played in my position. I showed
everybody what I can do, how I'm good. It is difficult to judge one player
when he doesn't have one position.

"At the end of the season, where are they going to pick me in the best team
in England? It is not easy.

"It is not easy to put me at centre-back if I have not played there. But I
hope one day I can show everybody again what I can do."
(若我不是打中後衛就很難將歸納到中後衛的名單裡。但我希望有一天我能再次向大家
證明我的能力。)
Terry is currently partnered by Ricardo Carvalho in the centre of the Chelsea
defence and it is galling for Gallas when people say the team are at their
meanest when he and the England man are together instead.
He said: "A lot of people say 'Ah, when you play with John we don't concede a
goal, you are the best central defenders."
