教宗方濟各在今天稍早的「週三公開接見」結束時，
請大家為榮休教宗本篤十六世祈禱，並提及本篤十六世病得很重。
他說：
I would like to ask you all for a special prayer for
Pope Emeritus Benedict, who in silence is supportingthe
Church. Remember him -- he is very ill -- asking the Lord
to console him, and sustain him in this witness of love for
the Church, until the end.
同一篇推文也引述聖座新聞室主任Matteo Bruni的話說，
本篤十六世最近健康狀況不佳、並且將之歸因於年老力衰。

而在那之前，我看到教宗的官方推文這樣說：
Let us
#PrayTogether for Pope Emeritus Benedict who is
supporting the Church in silence. Let us ask the Lord to
console him and to sustain him in this witness of love for

我自己看到「until the end」時就覺得不太對勁，
後來看到上面那篇梵蒂岡新聞網的推文時才確認如此。
