教宗方济各在今天稍早的「周三公开接见」结束时，
请大家为荣休教宗本笃十六世祈祷，并提及本笃十六世病得很重。
他说：
I would like to ask you all for a special prayer for
Pope Emeritus Benedict, who in silence is supportingthe
Church. Remember him -- he is very ill -- asking the Lord
to console him, and sustain him in this witness of love for
the Church, until the end.
同一篇推文也引述圣座新闻室主任Matteo Bruni的话说，
本笃十六世最近健康状况不佳、并且将之归因於年老力衰。

而在那之前，我看到教宗的官方推文这样说：
Let us
#PrayTogether for Pope Emeritus Benedict who is
supporting the Church in silence. Let us ask the Lord to

我自己看到「until the end」时就觉得不太对劲，
後来看到上面那篇梵蒂冈新闻网的推文时才确认如此。
