福音：瑪六1-6、16-18 那時，耶穌對門徒們說： 　「你們應當心，不要在人前行你們的仁義，為叫他們看見； 　　若是這樣，你們在天父之前，就沒有賞報了。 　　所以，當你施捨時，不可在你們前面吹號， 　　如同假善人在會堂及街市上所行的一樣，為受人們的稱讚； 　　我實在告訴你們，他們已獲得了他們的賞報。 　　當你施捨時，不要叫你左手知道你右手所行的，好使你的施捨隱而不露， 　　你的父在暗中看見，必要報答你。 　　當你祈禱時，不要如同假善人一樣，愛在會堂及十字街頭立著祈禱，為顯示給人； 　　我實在告訴你們，他們已獲得了他們的賞報。 　　至於你，當你祈禱時，要進入你的內室，關上門，向你在暗中之父祈禱； 　　你的父在暗中看見，必要報答你。 　　幾時你們禁食，不要如同假善人一樣，面帶愁容； 　　因為他們苦喪著臉，是為叫人看出他們禁食來。 　　我實在告訴你們，他們已獲得了他們的賞報。 　　至於你，當你禁食時，要用油抹你的頭，洗你的臉，不要叫人看出你禁食來， 　　但叫你那在暗中之父看見；你的父在暗中看見，必要報答你。」 反省 　今天耶穌要我們反省我們信仰的動機； 　　最典型又充滿自我犧牲的宗教行為應屬施捨、守齋和祈禱了吧， 　　然而耶穌要我們去覺察這些行動背後的動機是不是為了自我滿足的另一個極端。 　幾時我們與天主交往是為了自己的好處，而不是純然為了天主本身。 　如果是後者，自然會很渴望這些行動是只屬於我跟天主獨享的私密經驗， 　深怕有第三者介入就破壞了它的品質。 　當然，教會也鼓勵人甚至規定要有公共的施捨、守齋與祈禱。 　但你知道為彼此深愛的戀人來說，這哪裡足夠呢！ 　我想這是耶穌推薦我們去經驗的深度信仰吧！ 　（姜嶺神父） Gospel MT 6:1-6, 16-18 Jesus said to his disciples: “Take care not to perform righteous deeds 　　in order that people may see them; 　　　otherwise, you will have no recompense from your heavenly Father. 　When you give alms, do not blow a trumpet before you, 　　as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets 　　to win the praise of others. 　Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. 　But when you give alms, 　　do not let your left hand know what your right is doing, 　　　so that your almsgiving may be secret. 　And your Father who sees in secret will repay you. “When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, 　　who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners 　　　so that others may see them. 　Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. 　But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, 　　and pray to your Father in secret. 　And your Father who sees in secret will repay you. “When you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites. 　They neglect their appearance, 　　so that they may appear to others to be fasting. 　Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. 　But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 　　so that you may not appear to others to be fasting, 　　　except to your Father who is hidden. 　And your Father who sees what is hidden will repay you.” -- --
