There is more good news for Italy after their 2-0 win over Ghana
last night as Gianluca Zambrotta has been declared injury-free.
The Juventus stopper missed the Hanover tie because of a thigh strain,
but medics have handed him back to boss Marcello Lippi on Tuesday.
“Zambrotta joined the rest of the squad this morning and
is getting back to full fitness,” stated doctor Enrico Castellacci.
義大利隊醫 Castellacci說：
「Zambrotta在今天早上加入了隊伍，而且開始恢復狀態。」
“I think we can now all consider him to be back at the disposal
of the Italian national Coach.”
「我想我們可以考慮讓他重回主教練的調派了。」
Zambrotta featured in a very light practice game this morning
and he could return to action on Saturday against America.
Zambrotta今早開始輕度訓練，有可能在週六對美國一戰上場。
The tactician will now use the next few days to assess his options,
given that the marauding Zambrotta can play both as a full-back
on the right and left.
Meanwhile, Castellacci has ruled out any significant problems
for Francesco Totti after the knock he picked up against the Africans.
Castellacci也說 Totti在對迦納戰中的受傷不成大礙。
“He suffered a slight twist to his knee,
but there are no problems and we are tranquil,” he continued.
“He'll be fine for the immediate future.”
「Totti的膝蓋輕微扭傷，不過沒有太大問題，很快就會復原。」
The Azzurri now have just one injury problem to resolve
in the form of dynamic midfielder Gennaro Gattuso.
“He's working hard to get back,” added the medic.
“He'll undergo more tests on Wednesday. We are going
forward with caution, yet with optimism.”
對於 Gattuso，隊醫說：「他正在努力恢復，在週三要進行更多檢查，
我們得帶了警戒處理這事，此後才能樂觀一點。」
Gattuso, who picked up a thigh strain in a friendly with Switzerland,
may miss the entire group phase.
