The Granata triumphed 3-1 at the Stadio Delle Alpi after extra time to ensure a 5-5 aggregate scoreline which was enough for a place in next season's First Division. Torino在升級附加賽第二腿完成驚人一戰， 打到延長以３－１取勝，總比分５－５確定重回義甲。 After losing the first leg 4-2, Torino knew that they needed to win by at least two goals and they completed half the job in the opening 45 minutes. The Granata were handed a penalty when Muzzi was brought down and Rosina tucked away the spot kick. 第一腿輸２－４，Torino必須至少贏兩球才能晉級，上半場完成一半， Muzzi被幹倒獲判點球，Rosina主罰踢進。 The Granata made it 2-0 on 63 minutes when Muzzi himself netted. Rosina floated in a corner and the veteran hitman was able to stab the ball past the experienced Brivio in the Mantova goal. 63min，Rosina角球傳中，Muzzi再下一城。 With the away goals rule not active, the tie went into extra time given the 4-4 aggregate score, but the home side knew a draw would be enough for a place in Serie A as Torino finished higher in the Serie B table than their rivals. 因為沒有使用客場進球規則，４－４的總比分使比賽進入延長賽， 積分榜位置優於 Mantova的 Torino只要維持比分就能升甲。 Nevertheless, Toro fans were celebrating yet again in the first period when Nicola rose above the defenders to nod home from a Rosina cross. They saw red soon after though when Fantini was dismissed in a game which had turned nasty at times. 而 Rosina又靠角球再次助攻 Nicola得分， 但是之後 Fantini因多次惡意犯規領到紅牌下場。 Mantova now needed a brace of goals and they got back into it when they were awarded a penalty following a foul on Graziani. Poggi sent the ball to Taibi's right. But it wasn't enough as Mantova's promotion dream was shattered.
