標題[請益] 高中英文文法請教 amount和the比較級

想請問(1)amount就我所知是用在不可數名詞，
可是卻在某所高中考卷看到the amounts of ingredients
請問這種寫法對嗎??
(2)the比較級...the比較級
the more fresh air you breath
為何不能寫成 the more you breath fresh air
想請問神人指教了，謝謝
