标题[请益] 高中英文文法请教 amount和the比较级

想请问(1)amount就我所知是用在不可数名词，
可是却在某所高中考卷看到the amounts of ingredients
请问这种写法对吗??
(2)the比较级...the比较级
the more fresh air you breath
为何不能写成 the more you breath fresh air
想请问神人指教了，谢谢
