Those are the four guys who should comprise : the Division Series rotation, and here is the order they should pitch : and why: Torre打算在本次系列戰推出小王打頭陣, 接下來則依序是RJ, Moose, 和Wright. 而這四 名投手也被認為將是洋基季後賽的先發投手群. 以下我分別說明他們應該在季後賽中擔綱 第幾場先發及其理由: : WANG IN GAME 1 -He has pitched much better at home than on the road, : and whoever starts the opener would, if necessary, also start a decisive : Game 5 at Yankee Stadium. A few weeks back there was concern about Wang : far exceeding his highest inning total ever. He has tempered those frets : by pitching well recently and actually now projects as the Yankees starter : most capable of handling a heavy workload. If his signature hard sinker : is on, it does not matter if a team sees him twice in a series. There is : little adjustment that could be made to that pitch. 小王排第一場 - 首先, 小王主場戰績比客場好太多了, 而且通常排在第一場的先發投手, 在第五場關鍵戰(如果有必要的話)將會二度於洋基主場登板. 就在數週之前, 許多人關心 小王投球局數的問題會否影響其表現, 因為在本季之前他從未投過如此多局數. 而小王近 來幾場表現仍舊優異, 這不但打消了許多人的疑慮, 也證明了他確實是洋基目前陣中最能 擔綱重任的投手! 只要小王那招牌式的伸卡球威力能夠正常發揮, 那麼即使他第二度面對 同一隊伍, 相信對手也是討不了好處. : JOHNSON IN GAME 2 -He actually has performed better on the road. Still, : there are benefits to pitching a lefty at the Stadium. Also, as he showed : again in last year's Division Series, there are advantages to having Johnson : available in relief in the postseason. If he starts in Game 2, he could be : available out of the pen in Games 4 or 5. RJ投第二場 - 其實巨怪今年在客場投的比較好. 但是讓他留在洋基主場先發仍有其好處. 首先是左投優勢, 其次, 就像去年季後賽的表現那般, 若將他排在第二場先發, 那麼如果 有必要的話, RJ將可在第四或第五戰中登板中繼. : MUSSINA IN GAME 3 - Torre always has thought this is the most important : game in a series, more so if the game is on the road, which it would be : here. Torre would want his pitcher most likely not to be impacted by that : kind of outside distraction, and that probably is Mussina. Moose負責第三戰 - Torre總認為第三戰將會是最關鍵的一戰, 而如果第三戰是在客場作 戰, 則其角色將更形重要. Torre在此需要一個無懼於客場壓力的穩定投手, 而這名人選 毫無疑問地是穆帥. : WRIGHT IN GAME 4 - Cory Lidle has tendinitis in his pitching hand, which : Torre said has robbed some effectiveness from the righty's splitter. Wright : has pitched better recently teamed with Fasano, peppering the strike zone : more. This might be a close call, but the nod goes to Wright because his : stuff is better, he has more postseason experience than Lidle : (including starting a World Series Game 7), and when a decision is close, : loyalty should matter. Wright has been part of the team all year, caused : no problems when he was bounced in and out of the rotation and - unlike, : say, Carl Pavano - has gained clubhouse-wide respect for working through : myriad injuries. There is some enticement when it comes to rookies Jeff : Karstens and Darrell Rasner, but way too much mystery to trust them in : October over Wright. Wright投第四場 - 在Cory Lidle些微手傷, 而Wright則在與捕手Fasano搭配表現優異的 情況下, 顯然地後者將在季後賽最後一個先發名額的競爭中勝出, 再加上Wright經驗較為 豐富, 他甚至有在世界大賽第七戰先發的經驗. 如果戰況吃緊的話, 一個投手心臟夠不夠 大顆將會成為勝負關鍵. 另外, 雖然Wright在今年先發名單中載浮載沉, 但他至少不像那 位聞名遐邇的Pavano先生一樣, 擁有讓隊上全員為之動容的傷病史....XD 至於兩名菜鳥投手Karstens和Rasner, 在十月之前應該也是拼不贏Wright才對. : [email protected] : http://0rz.net/9c1Rh --
