Bucks general manager John Hammond said Friday that James has an offer to play professionally overseas. Hammond did not name the European club, but said the Bucks were pleased with his performance this summer and in training camp so far. James was one of four point guards in Bucks camp and the only one without a guaranteed contract. The 5-foot-11 point guard signed with the Bucks on Monday after finishing second in assists, third in points and fourth in steals all time for Marquette. James was the Big East Freshman of the Year in 2006 and considered entering the NBA draft in 2007.
